On Thursday 9th October we journeyed towards London, staying with a lovely friend. This made the next day much easier. Friday would be a very long day. A very good day, but a long one, none the less. And so it was, as Friday 10th October began – at 5am – that we found ourselves awake, heading for the car and hunting for a coffee and some breakfast (under the flight path for Heathrow Airport and some golden arches), for the final leg of our 5 hour journey to Sky Group HQ, west of London City and their amazing campus and many, MANY amazing and outstanding people.

The Engage Conference ran from 0930 through til 4.30pm and we very busy throughout the gathering of a wonderfully diverse set of people of faith who also work in media in one way or another. We wouldn’t arrive back home until around 11pm that same day – we were still buzzing and bouncing from all we had heard and seen and done, delivering Live radio throughout the conference.

Why put this in a blog? Because it was epic and I thought you might enjoy something of a photo dump from the day, that still has me smiling.
